Thurston Howl Publications is now accepting submissions for its furry anthology, THE FURRY COOKBOOK.
Deadline: November 1, 2018
Word count: 2,500-8,000; a little above and a little below will be acceptable
Oliver Twist once said, bowl in paw, “Please sir, may I have some murr?” It’s time to celebrate food! We want to see anthro-animal characters at the dinner table, at the restaurant, at the drive-thru, wherever, bonding over a good (or bad) meal. It is perfectly fine but not required if submissions are erotic in nature. All stories must center around a meal, food, or drink. We welcome all genres! All story submissions must be “furry” in nature. ALSO, if accepted, we will ask that each author write a recipe to accompany their story based on the food/meal/drink in the story.
We will NOT accept:
Racism, sexism, or discrimination presented in a positive light.
Pedophilia or sex with characters under the age of 18 presented in a positive light.
Rape, torture, dubious consent, forced seduction presented in a positive light.
Snuff or Necrophilia presented in a positive light
Bestiality presented in a positive light

You can submit up to four stories, but we will only accept two at the most per author (if any).
Reprints are fine, but you have to own full permission of the work in order for us to consider it.
We will not accept simultaneous submissions.
Payment: $10/story
Send submissions in .doc or .docx format to jonathan.thurstonhowlpub@gmail.com.
Title your email with the story title in all caps, e.g. “FURGER KING.” If you are sending more than one submission, send multiple emails instead of putting them all in one.
We will inform all authors regarding decisions within a week or two after the deadline.
Book will likely be released in March or April.
